Adaptive Control Neutral Point Scheme for Wind-Based Induction Machine

The primary objective of this research problem is to monitor and incorporate an auxiliary system to fortify the primary configuration of the wind turbine system in a doubly-fed induction generator during adverse conditions. Simulation studies reveal substantial improvements in reducing progress time and enhancing the dynamic concert of the induction machine when related to induction motor speed control techniques. The widely applicable three-phase induction motor, the proposed technique, which is valued for its robust construction, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness, finds extensive use in various industrial settings. This paper proposes that, in this application, the neutral point clamped technique is utilized to ascertain feedback controller parameters for a three-phase induction motor driven by a wind turbine. The adoption of the neutral point-clamped technique brings about simplicity in implementation. Simulation results underscore a significant leap forward in expediting development processes and refining the dynamic performance of the induction machine, distinguishing it from traditional induction motor drive speed control methods. The proposed methodology can be effectively employed to implement an adaptive control neutral point scheme for wind energy-driven induction machines using Matlab/Simulink software.
