Development of Household Energy Usage Monitoring Smart Meter System Using Lorawan

Effective management of energy resources is a worldwide challenge in today's world that is changing quickly. Current energy monitoring systems frequently have unintuitive user interfaces and out dated data, which deprives user sof knowledge about trend sin power usage. Our idea offers a full solution for data transfer and energy monitoring to address these problems. For accurate voltage and current measurements, the PZEM-004T sensor is employed by the core. actual-time data presentation is made easier with the help of Arduino boards that have LCD displays and I2C modules. These boards give users rapid access to metrics like actual power, voltage, current, and power factor. To provide dependable long- distance data transfer, we utilise LoRa (Long-Range) technology for communication. Data on energy use is sent from the LoRa- capable Arduino board to a receiver that has an ESP8266 processor installed. The ESP8266 receives data, processes it, and displays the results on an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI). Accurate sensor readings, intuitive data visualisation, and effective long-distance data transmission are combined in this project to overcome issues with energy monitoring systems. Through its ability to facilitate efficientand user-centered energy management, it helps businesses and consumers track and optimise energy usage, promote efficiency, cut down on waste, and pave the way for a more sustainable and environmentally aware energy future.
