Automobile Slot Booking and Parking System Using ESP8266

In today’s rapidly growing urban landscape, the increasing demand for cars has made finding an appropriate parking space a significant challenge. The difficulty of locating a parked car among hundreds and the inefficiencies in space utilization contribute to user frustration and financial losses for parking vendors. The lack of convenient payment methods further exacerbates these issues. A modern, advanced parking ecosystem can address these problems by offering a more efficient and user-friendly solution. This paper introduces a Smart Parking and Reservation System that leverages QR codes and a dedicated mobile application, developed using MIT(Massachusetts Institute of Technology App Inventor)software, to streamline the process of finding, reserving, and paying for parking spaces. The system not only helps users quickly locate parking spots and remember where they parked but also provides a hassle-free, secure payment method, saving both time and effort. This innovation stands to benefit both users and vendors, enhancing overall parking efficiency in densely populated areas.
