Exploration of Algorithm-Based Character Motion and Expression Naturalization Technology in Animation Design

In this study, an algorithm-based optimization method is proposed to solve the naturalization problem of character movement and expression in animation design. The purpose of this study is to realize the naturalization of character movement and expression in animation by comprehensively using motion capture technology, dynamic simulation and machine learning algorithm. Through in-depth analysis of the characteristics of humanoid characters and cartoon characters in movement and expression, the movement and expression of these two different types of animated characters are optimized naturally by using advanced algorithm technology. The experimental results show that the action of the optimized humanoid character is more natural and smooth, and the expression is richer and more delicate, which significantly improves the realism and emotional communication ability of the animation. At the same time, the movements and expressions of cartoon characters, while maintaining their unique exaggerated style, also show higher coherence and interest. This study not only provides new technical ideas for the field of animation design, but also makes substantial contributions to the overall improvement of animation quality.
