Catadioptric Dual-FOV High Definition SWIR Imaging Sensor Optics for Security Surveillance

This paper delineates front end catadioptric dual FOV optical design for SWIR Imaging sensor. Discrete Zoom lens design is introduced for high definition uncooled InGaAs detector. The designed system for effective focal length 400mm operates at f/5 and for effective focal length 900mm operates at f/ll for fixed aperture. Relay system designing is also incorporated along with catadioptric architecture to make the system more compact. The optical design as well as performance parameter analysis in terms of the amount of flux collected by the optics and resolution achieved by the optics is discussed in detail.
