Topological Protected Edge State with Ultra-High Q-Factor in One Dimensional Photonic Crystal Heterostructure

Ahstract- The present manuscript introduces and conducts a theoretical study on a one-dimensional topological photonic crystal (1D TPC). It shows a robust resonant state with an ultra-high-quality factor ($\mathrm{Q}-\text{factor} =10^{9}$) at the edge of the heterostructure. It has many applications in various scientific fields, like photonic and opto-electronic devices etc.
