Integrated Design Process of General Quality Characteristics of Clustered UAS by MBSE

As the mission modes and application scenarios of clustered unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) continue to diversify, the inherent traits of mission variability, collaborative interaction, and dynamic reconstruction pose escalating challenges in designing and verifying universal mass characteristics. This study examines the characteristics of clustered UAS and their alignment with universal quality attributes. It conducts an analysis and study of clustered UAS development and operation processes through model-based systems engineering (MBSE), employing demand decomposition and verification. Furthermore, it introduces a comprehensive MBSE-driven approach for designing universal quality characteristics, seamlessly integrating them into the system's functional and characteristic design processes across various developmental stages. Ultimately, this approach facilitates the realization of iterative, collaborative, and integrated design processes for universal quality characteristics within the MBSE framework.
