Heat Dissipation Model and Simulation of Piezoelectric Transformer

With the continuous development of electronic informatization, piezoelectric transformers(PT) are gradually replacing traditional electromagnetic transformers, and the power density of PT is limited due to heat generation problems. This paper conducts simulations to analyze the loss models parametrically and explore the heating reasons of piezoelectric transformer working in contour-mode. Based on the actual temperature rise of the piezoelectric transformer, the parameters in each model are determined, making the simulated temperature rise more in line with reality. Hence, the simulation research providing supports for understanding the thermal distribution of piezoelectric transformer and further improving their power density.
