Research on the Cooling Water Flow Model of Indirect Air Cooling Unit

In indirect air cooling unit, operating double circulating pump can't decrease efficiently the exhausted pressure of steam turbine. This problem was illustrated in detail. The “indirect air cooling cycle” and mathematical model for calculating circulating water flow for indirect air cooling. By this mathematical model, the calculating circulating water flow was only half of the designed value. The designing number of circulating pump and the initial investment of new power plant were reduced. And the auxilary power rate was reduced in the operating unit. Theoretical basis was supported for the optimizing designing and operating of indirect air cooling unit.
