SPACE: a new simulation suite for EAST plasma control*

The necessity for plasma control simulation is escalating, particularly in the context of effective control implementation during tokamak operation. A recently developed simulation suite, specifically designed for plasma control on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST), has been successfully demonstrated as a supportive tool for plasma discharge. This paper describes the code architecture, the device modeling, the design and optimization of multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) shape controller, and the scenario design and implementation for alternative diverted configuration discharge on EAST.
