Research on Software Fault Injection Testing Technology

This paper introduces the technical background of fault injection testing and presents an approach to fault injection testing for warship software, including program analysis, fault injection, fault injection testing and test adequacy evaluation. The experimental results show that this approach is feasible and can be effectively applied in ship software testing. Besides, it is help to reduce equivalent mutants and improve the testing adequacy by employing higher-order mutation.
