Mathematical Modeling of Wave Diffraction on a Conical Grating with Semitransparent Strips

The rigorous diffraction boundary problem for a semitransparent slotted semi-infinite cone is considered. Slots are periodically cut along its generatrices from the cone tip. The source field is assumed to be monochromatic. The solution method uses the Kontorovich-Lebedev integral transform method and the singular integral equation (SIE) one. The SIE is obtained for a slotted semitransparent cone boundary problem and a magnetic dipole excitation. For the cone of the transparency parameter limiting value and a longitudinal slot field distribution patterns are given. The slot influence on the field behavior at the conical tip is studied.
