CDM ESD Risk Assessment for Ground-Crossing Circuit Through PERC P2P/CD Programming

New point-to-point resistance (P2P) and current density (CD) analyses are formulated to quantify CDM ESD risk to ground-crossing circuits. The P2P analysis calculates the equivalent resistances responsible for the voltage overstress. The CD analysis simulates IR-drop on the ground network due to full-chip current flow from distributed charge storage.
