Spoof Localized Surface Plasmon Sensor for Dielectric Material Measurements

In this paper, a notched metal spiral spoof LSPs double-layer resonator structure is proposed, which is excited by microstrip lines and generates multipolar resonant modes, based on which a dielectric constant sensor is realized, and the microwave sensor operates in the frequency range of 3 GHz to 3.9 GHz, and the simulation results show that the sensor has the advantages of high sensitivity and good robustness, and has great potential in dielectric constant measurement.
