Enhanced DGTD Method Using RCM Unit Reorder Technique

In this paper, an enhanced Discontinuous Galerkin Time Domain (DGTD) method is proposed to solve the time-consuming problem of discontinuous memory access by using a unit reorder method based on Reverse Cuthill-McKee (RCM). The influence of locality on cache hit was analyzed for DGTD method and an example was used to assess the improvement of unit locality by the RCM reorder. The numerical results demonstrate efficiency and the performance of the DGTD method using RCM unit reorder technique.
