An interleaved parallel adjustable frequency selective surface based on varactor diodes

Designed a frequency selective surface that is continuously adjustable within multiple bands. By combining single-layer resonant components with variable capacitance diodes, dual band pass is achieved, and the passband frequency is continuously adjustable. Varactor diodes are arranged in the pattern gap, with adjacent rows of diodes facing opposite directions, known as staggered arrangement. The feeding metal wires make the entire circuit parallel, with the aim of loading them with equal voltage. By adjusting the voltage to change the capacitance value between the gaps, tuning function can be achieved.
