Low absorption n-type gallium phosphide monitors for the HF laser

The design of low absorption on-line monitors for HF laser radiation is presented. The detection process is optical rectification in n-type gallium phosphide. It is shown that a single plate of gallium phosphide can be used as both the output coupler and a power measuring monitor for HF lasers.
