Study on scattering characteristics of discrete charged particle system

The scattering characteristics of discrete charged particle system are studied in this paper. Firstly, we give the Mie theory of a single charged particle illuminated by plane wave, and then the scattering theory of discrete charged particle system is derived by combining the particle size distribution function. Based on the above theories, the effects of particle size and surface charge on extinction efficiency are mainly analyzed. The general trend of extinction efficiency of charged particle system decreases and the corresponding transmittance increases with the increase of surface conductivity. The research results have important applications in aviation, aerospace, remote sensing, imaging and many other fields.
