A Literature Review on the Advancements in Hybrid Perovskite Solar Cells

This paper surveys the recent advancements in the area of perovskite solar cell (PSC) technology. Recent studies are discussed, covering novel materials, device architectures, and fabrication techniques aimed at enhancing PSC efficiency, stability, and scalability. Key findings of this paper include the superior performance of dual-layer mesoporous designs, such as $TiO_{2}+Al2O_{3}$ configurations, which minimize current leakage and optimize electron insulation. Additionally, research on ionic-to-electronic current amplification in hybrid PSCs demonstrates a new pathway to improve solar energy conversion. Other studies focus on optimizing electron transport layers (ETLs) and hole transport layers (HTLs) to enhance device performance and stability. Innovations in inverted PSCs, novel hole transporting materials (HTMs) like DEG-IDIDF, and the development of 2D3D hybrid perovskites further contribute to improving PSC efficiency and durability. These advancements hold promise for the development of cost-effective, efficient, and stable solar energy solutions.
