Abstract:
We highlight the potential of frequency-controlled beam steering mechanisms enabled by leaky wave antennas (LWA), to enhance the reliability and performance of Terahertz (THz) inter-satellite link (ISL) communication systems under significant beam misalignment conditions. Using model-driven analysis and over-the-air experiments, we demonstrate the effectiveness of LWAs in adapting to dynamic communication scenarios, ensuring reliable inter-small-satellite THz communications.
