A Novel Histogram-Based Approach for Video Forgery Detection

The authenticity of the documents can be manipulated very easily in the modern world because of the easy availability of tools for this process hence the importance of forgery detection in digital media. Histogram based techniques appear to provide good solutions for the problem of forgery detection in videos. These algorithms work by observing variations in pixel intensity within the frames of the video in methods pinpointed by manipulative actions. When examining the overarching idea behind the process, these steps include frame extraction, histogram calculation, visualization and analysis and detection. Proposed method achieves 87. 5% accuracy.
