Research on Activity Diagram Testing method based on UML Testing Profile

The correctness of the UML activity diagram itself is an important research content in the field of model-based testing. This article focuses on model-based testing of the model itself, elements of the UML activity diagram such as nodes, edges, and groups are formally defined. The activity diagram is used as the system under test (SUT) to build a UML model, and then the model is tested based on the UML Testing Profile (UTP). Similar to software testing, the testing process is divided into unit-level testing, integration-level testing, and system-level testing. The ATM example is used to demonstrate the activity diagram testing methodology based on UTP proposed in this paper.
