Abstract:
With the widespread popularity of intelligent connected vehicles, the demand for software updates of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) is becoming increasingly frequent. However, as the functionality of software update packages becomes more enriched, the time required for Over-The-Air (OTA) update also lengthens accordingly, and the security of update packages particularly important in this process. Aiming at the problems existing in the current OTA update of vehicle, this paper proposes an OTA system solution based on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) hybrid encryption and decryption technology and Ethernet transmission. Through validation, this OTA system not only significantly reduces the time for OTA updates but also ensures the security of update packages, thereby meeting the growing update demands and security standards.
