Authenticated Encryption for the LOL Framework

With the advent of the 5G era, in order to achieve ultra-fast software implementation for the ubiquitous virtual networks and high-security level for post-quantum cryptography to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and authentication during data transmission, a methodology for integration of authentication and encryption processes for a general framework for designing blockwise stream ciphers is proposed, and automated analysis of the improved LOL framework are performed to prove its security. The key generation mechanism in the ZUC algorithm combined with the HMAC algorithm to generate tags is integrated into the LOL framework. The correctness and security of the encryption and authentication parts are verified using Cryptol and STP, tools for formal verification and automated analysis of cryptographic algorithms. Experiments have shown that the new scheme has high performance. The introduction of automated analysis tools provides a comprehensive assessment of security and ensures robustness under various attack modes, allowing data to be encrypted with simultaneous authentication, improving overall security and efficiency.
