DTP-Based Payload Program Design for High-Throughput Communication Satellites

CHINASAT-6E communication satellite is the first DTP-based Ku/Ka band high-throughput commercial satellite developed in China, which realizes flexible hinge communication between high-throughput user beams. The article outlines the design of the DTP-based Ku/Ka-band high-throughput payload scheme and summarizes the technical features of the payload's ground-to-satellite integration design, DTP control design, reliability design, etc. It also analyzes the effectiveness of in-orbit use as well as suggestions for the development of subsequent high-throughput flexible satellites. The successful launch and in-orbit application of the satellite have upgraded the technical level of China's high-throughput flexible satellites and laid the foundation for the development of subsequent high-throughput flexible satellites.
