Effectiveness of Normal Probability Density Function in Modelling Safety Score Distribution

The normal distribution model has strong application in mathematical and statistical research. In communication system, each electron component has a safety score, aiming to measure the its stability and reliability in use. This essay examines the effectiveness of normal distribution in modelling electron components’ safety score distribution, and also seeks for the optimized probability density function in modelling our sample data. Throughout the model fitting process, the effect of different parameters of model on the graph is discussed. Result of research shows that normal distribution model can fit the safety score distribution well.
