A Novel Scheme Based on Optimization of Nodes Geometry for 5G Positioning

Nodes geometry can significantly influence the performance of 5 G positioning systems, it is hence crucial to optimize the nodes geometry to enhance the accuracy of positioning. This paper proposes a multi-level positioning scheme based on optimization of nodes geometry. Compared with conventional method, it improves the performance of locating obviously. In routine method, GDOP is used to evaluate the quality of nodes geometry. And this paper also provides a new scheme to judge the geometry. It reduces the system complexity distinctly, and only brings minor accuracy loss.
