Design and Implementation of IEEE1588 Clock Synchronization

The acquisition system for electroencephalography (EEG) signals plays a crucial role in EEG research. In order to meet the distributed clock synchronization requirements of the EEG acquisition system, this paper designs a clock synchronization system based on the IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol. The system achieves master-slave clock synchronization of the EEG acquisition system through software, with an accuracy reaching the microsecond level, thereby improving the precision of timestamp capture for devices within the system. Finally, experimental tests validate that the system meets the requirements of the EEG acquisition system.
