Standardization Benefits Assessing Model for New Power System Industry

The new power system is an important part of the modern industrial system, which needs the support and guidance of technical standards. Standardization level is an important dimension to evaluate whether new power system industry is developing in high quality. Firstly, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the interaction between technical standards and industrial development to clarify the mechanism of promoting industrial development by standards. Then, a standardization benefit assessing model which is appropriate for new power system industry is presented innovatively. An assessment index system of standardization benefits is proposed. In order to shed light on the mechanism of benefits produced by standards in the course of industrial upgrading, the smart meter industry which has a representative industrial development is chosen as an example. Finally, the results validate that the implementation of the standard system has yielded noteworthy economic, social, and ecological benefits, as well as the optimization of industrial structure. The results of this study can serve as a theoretical foundation and policy basis for encouraging the adoption of new power system standards.
