Integrated Energy Optimisation Dispatch Based on Compressed Air Storage Power Generation

Aiming at the problems of large volatility of renewable energy power generation which cannot be efficiently absorbed, resulting in “wind abandonment and power abandonment” as well as various forms of energy load fluctuations adversely affecting the power of the power grid, this paper proposes an integrated energy optimisation dispatch model based on compressed air energy storage. Compared with other energy storage technologies, compressed air energy storage (Compressed Air Energy Storage, CAES) system has become a technical means to achieve large-scale energy storage with its reliability and economy. In this paper, by mathematically modelling the compressed air energy storage power generation system and combining it with the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) waste heat recovery power generation technology, three different scenarios are set up for the comparative analysis of the examples, and finally the configuration of the energy storage location is analysed, and the results validate that the described dispatch model is effective in improving the energy utilisation rate and the system economy, reducing load fluctuation, reducing the peak-to-valley difference, and reducing the peak-to-valley distribution. fluctuation, reducing peak-to-valley difference and distribution network loss.
