Research on Thermal Management Technology of Photovoltaic Modules Coupled with Phase Change Heat Transfer

The power generation efficiency of solar cells is more sensitive to temperature. In this paper, phase change materials are applied to the thermal management system of solar cells. The daily variation of solar radiation and the daily variation of ambient temperature have been simulated. The effect of the application of phase change materials on the efficiency of the solar cell is investigated. The heat transfer process of the thermal management system is improved using foam metal, and the effect of porosity on the efficiency of solar panels is analyzed.
