The AHP-based Partner Selection Model and Vendor Evaluation Algorithm for the Aircraft Subcontract Manufacturing Alliance

Partner selection and evaluation is an important phase in establishing the strategic alliance and winning the completed advantage of cooperating partners for the aircraft subcontract manufacturing (SM) alliance of aeronautical manufacturing enterprise. An evaluation targets system and multiple objects decision-making model were proposed in the enterprise’s partner selection process, and the five criteria that influenced the vendor’s partner selection of the aircraft SM alliance were analyzed in order to establish its own distinct competitive advantages in the many aircraft SM corporations. By changing the alternate weight of vendors’ sizes, a partner selection and vendor assessment model based on the AHP method is suggested.
