Research method for redundant optical transmission network mapping based on SDH/OTN

In response to the limitations of SDH in bandwidth expansion and transmission efficiency, this study delves into the mapping method of redundant optical transmission networks based on SDH/OTN. We studied the mapping mechanism of SDH signals in OTN networks and proposed a flexible service carrying scheme suitable for fgOTN (fine-grained OTN). By utilizing the wavelength division multiplexing optical communication technology in OTN technology, multiple optical signals of different wavelengths were transmitted through a single fiber, and the mapping method of redundant optical transmission network was studied. The experimental results show that this method can effectively collect laser communication signals, reduce the redundancy of optical transmission network mapping, and lower the communication error rate.
