Realization of a 16x16 Barrel Shifter with 16-Bit Bin. to Gr. Converter for Encryption Using FinFET Technology

Our research paper introduces a generative im-plementation of a 16x16 Barrel Shifter combined with a 16-bit Binary to Gray Converter specifically designed for encryption applications using FinFET technology within the cadence tool. Barrel shifters are pivotal in digital circuitry for data manipulation, whereas Bin. to Gr. converters are indispensable elements in data processing and encryption protocols. Harnessing the distinctive traits of FinFET technology, our design strives to deliver superior performance, efficiency, and security for encryption operations. We introduce an innovative blueprint for the 16x16 barrel shifter and offer comprehensive insights into the design and execution of the Bin. to Gr. converter. Our strategy leverages the benefits of FinFET technology, including lower power consumption, enhanced speed, and increased reliability, to tackle the encryption challenges in contemporary computer systems. The results of our experiments validate the effectiveness and feasibility of our proposed solution, opening avenues for progress in encryption methodologies leveraging cutting-edge semiconductor technolozies.[1],
