Dynamic Planning Scheduling Study of Unmanned Mining Trucks in Open-pit Mines

The open-pit mines extremely easily cause mining trucks to be unable to correctly judge the state of vehicles and environment in front of them in the process of meeting or following the vehicle due to the obstruction of mountains and other terrain features, which affects the safety and efficiency of vehicle driving. Utilizing vehicle-road cooperative technology can effectively solve the problem of insufficient sight distance in curved areas and improve driving safety and efficiency of unmanned mining trucks. This paper proposes a dynamic planning scheduling strategy for unmanned mining trucks at curved intersections based on vehicle-road cooperative technology so that when unmanned mining trucks conflict in special road sections, they can be scheduled through local dynamic planning, thus eliminating conflicts, effectively improving road capacity and guaranteeing the safety of open-pit mine transportation.
