Abstract:

Bees are the main source of pollinators for various wild plant species and is the only source of honey production. Beehive management frequently faces challenges such fluctuating weather conditions, ambiguous indicators of hive health, and the requirement for timely honey extraction. The proposed initiative uses Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to address the urgent issues that modern beekeepers are facing. Our technology uses sensors to track temperature, humidity, hive weight, and bee count inside beehives in order to overcome these challenges. Beekeepers can take proactive steps to preserve ideal circumstances by monitoring environmental data on a regular basis. The Beehive Monitoring System provides beekeepers remote accessibility. This Paper presents a thorough analysis of the system's methodology and results, emphasizing its potential to transform beekeeping methods. The proposed system also helps us find the most appropriate conditions for optimal honey production. This includes a temperature of 30 to 36 degree Celsius and a relative humidity of 40% to 60% for the prototype tested.
