Sentiment Analysis and Summarization of WhatsApp Chats

In the rapidly growing age of digital communication, the use of messaging platforms is ever-increasing. These platforms help us to share, connect, talk, and see each other virtually. Having been downloaded over 5 billion times worldwide, WhatsApp is the most popular messaging platform. From waking up in the morning to sleeping at night we never miss a chance to use it. This extensive usage of WhatsApp presents a valuable resource for conducting an analysis of social behaviors. The WhatsApp chats contain a pile of hidden information and knowledge, but processing such huge amounts of data is not an easy task and requires modern and sophisticated techniques that can process the data efficiently. Our project uses Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning to provide a practical solution to mine insights from this data. By combining sentiment analysis and summarization techniques we can better understand the emotions, trends, and key points within the WhatsApp conversations.
