Implementing TACH-O-MATIC for Real-Time Bicycle Speed and Distance Monitoring

A portable tool to measure the revolutions per minute (RPM) of rotating objects is being proposed by the Digital Tachometer initiative, with a specific focus on bicycle tires. RPM is calculated by using an Arduino board with a Hall sensor to detect disruptions brought on by a magnet fastened to the spinning tire. This system, which is installed on the tire of the bicycle, has an LED display that shows real-time RPM data. It also has a speed-sensing alarm that sounds to notify users when the RPM rises above a preset threshold. The project could be improved by adding data logging for performance tracking, investigating alternate power sources, implementing wireless connectivity for data transmission to a smartphone app, and enhancing the user interface. By improving cycling conditions and promoting environmentally friendly transportation options, the project's overall goal is to increase the use of bicycles.
