Data Distribution for Scalable on-Array Processing

The capacity of multi-beam digital arrays is constrained by data offload and processing bottlenecks, limiting the available degrees of freedom and beam count. These bottlenecks may be overcome by distributing array data across organic processing resources embedded within the array grid. Several on-array parallelization schemes are proposed which provide improved I/O efficiency vs. degrees of freedom relative to existing hierarchical beamformers.
