Multi-target Vibration Measurement using mmWave FMCW Radar for Industry 4.0

This study measures multi-target vibration in Industry 4.0 environments where vibration can be harmful. Vibration measurement is done by using phase values that can be translated to displacement and multi-target detection is done by a newly-proposed detection algorithm. Abnormal behavior of machinery and working mode switching altercation be measured through this research. This study can be further extended into a factory monitor system where personnel could be saved from routine checks and failures of systems could be predicted.
