Finite Blocklength Analysis of Cooperative Superposition Coded Relaying Systems over Nakagami-m Fading Channels

This paper analyzes the performance of cooperative superposition coded relaying systems over quasi-state Nakagami-m channels with finite-blocklength (FLB) transmission. The closed-form expression of the average block error rate (BLER) in decoding a signal with interference over an Nakagami-m channel is derived. By applying this expression to the systems, the closed-form expressions for the BLERs of two nodes are given. Furthermore, the power allocation coefficients and blocklengths are optimized so that the systems' average BLERs are minimum.
