Double Layer Cipher Cryptography Communication System

This study presents an innovative hybrid encryption method that integrates the Caesar cipher, Rail Fence cipher, and Vigenère cipher. Designed for resource-constrained environments, this approach demonstrates remarkable efficiency. Benchmarking results indicate that our method incurs significantly lower processing overhead compared to AES and RSA encryption standards. Specifically, the hybrid approach requires 80% less CPU time, 95% less memory, and consumes 90% less energy. These findings underscore the superior efficiency and suitability of the hybrid cipher for applications where resource optimization is critical.
