PVDF-SiO2 Composite Nanofilm for Insulating Oil Reviving

The stable operation of electrical equipment is crucial for the safety of the power system. Insulating oil plays a vital role in ensuring electrical equipment stability. However, because of the electromagnetic field, temperature and metal catalysis within electrical equipment, insulating oil will undergo aging and generate particulate impurities. This aging process can lead to faults in electrical equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to purify aged insulation oil to ensure the safe operation of the power system. Compared to traditional purification methods, this article adopts the electrospinning method to prepare composite nanofilm with polypropylene (PP) membranes as upper and lower support layers. The research focuses on the optimal solution mass fraction for membrane preparation. Additionally, by doping SiO
2
nanoparticles into PVDF, the hydrophobicity and polarity of the fiber membrane are enhanced. The article discusses the performance mechanism of the composite nanofilm in filtering aging products in oil. The results indicate that the nanofilm achieves the most uniform and stable state under the condition of a 12% mass fraction of PVDF. By employing PP membranes for the removal of large particle impurities and PVDF-SiO2 composite nanofilm for the filtration of micro-water and charged particles in oil, a more efficient resource recovery treatment of aged insulation oil has been achieved.
