Analysis of education reform in Indonesia based on qualitative methods for a digital sustainable society

Education in Indonesia has undergone reforms, particularly in the field of digital education. The currently education system in Indonesia is governed by Law No. 20 Year 2003. This legislation encompasses the entire education spectrum, from early education to tertiary education, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education, and improving educational infrastructure. This study discusses on the government’s laws and policies regarding digital education reform, identifies emerging trends and issues in this field, and proposes solutions for achieving sustainable digital education in Indonesia society. Qualitative methods were employed in this study, with data sources derived from libraries, observations, and interviews. The primary objective of this research is to explore new directions in education and the effective implementation of digital education within a sustainable society.
