ML based Projector to Smart Board Conversion

The study presents an approach to convert traditional projectors into interactive smart boards using machine learning techniques. Leveraging deep learning models SSDMobileNetV2, EfficientNet, and Fast R-CNN, combined with open-source libraries such as PyAutoGUI and OpenCV, the system accurately localizes user fingers, detects touch events, and translates these inputs into seamless interactions with projected content. Rigorous analysis demonstrates commendable performance metrics, including high accuracy in finger localization, real-time responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness. Real-time testing confirms the system’s practical applicability and efficiency, showcasing its potential to revolutionize interactive presentations, collaborative learning activities, and user engagement with projected content in educational and professional environments.
