Human Computer Interaction on Children based on AI

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent, understanding Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is crucial, especially from the perspective of children who increasingly encounter AI through smart toys, educational apps, and virtual assistants. This study analyses the impact of AI on children's social, emotional, and cognitive development, as well as privacy and security concerns. Using a comprehensive research methodology that includes surveys, interviews, and observations, data is collected from children of various backgrounds and age groups, with input from their parents or guardians. The analysis employs established HCI frameworks to focus on user experience, usability, and user-centred design. This research study aims to inform the design and development of child-friendly AI technology by closely examining how children interact with AI systems. The findings will enhance the existing body of knowledge on HCI, AI, and children, laying the groundwork for ethical and intentional design in AI-enhanced interactions for young users. This study contributes to creating a secure and supportive technological environment for children's growth and development.
