Design of Solar Panel Monitoring System Using ESP32& IOT

The increasing use of solar energy as a sustainable and renewable energy source has increased need for effective monitoring systems to guarantee maintenance and peak performance. This paper describes the design and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT) and ESP32 micro controller-based solar panel monitoring system. The suggested solar panel monitoring system allows for remote access to and management of solar panel parameters like voltage, current, temperature, and power output. The Solar Panel Monitoring System is a technological solution designed to monitor and manage solar panel performance efficiently. It also provides real-time monitoring and data collecting capabilities. The central processing unit is an ESP32 micro controller that interfaces with a range of sensors and actuators to wirelessly gather and send data to a cloud-based platform. By means of using Internet of Things protocols and technologies, the solar panel monitoring system enables smooth communication and interaction between the array of solar panels and end users. This paper provides information on the system design, hardware components, sensor integration, communication protocols, and software implementation. Additionally, the outcomes of the experiments show that the suggested solar panel monitoring system is feasible and efficient for tracking solar panel performance, identifying issues, and maximizing energy efficiency. The scalability, versatility, and cost-effectiveness of the solar panel monitoring system make it ideal for a broad range of solar energy applications, including those in the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
