The Application of CAN Communication in Operating Parameters Measurement System of Jeep CJ-6 for Educational Purposes

This study explores the application of Controller Area Network (CAN) in real-time performance data acquisition, focusing on identifying operational parameters for an experimental Jeep CJ -6 model. Utilizing an S TM8S microcontroller integrated with CAN, data collected from each sensors is transmitted to six slave nodes, with one master node displaying data from these nodes. The paper details the system structure, CAN design procedures, and data retrieval using the STM8S microcontroller. Validation of acquired data employs conventional comparison methods, detailed analysis is conducted on parameters determination and verification.
