Comprehensive Analysis of FPGA-Based Comparator: Power, Energy, and Thermal Metrics

The goal of the study is to improve digital circuit design techniques that are environmentally friendly and energy efficient by creating an optimized digital circuit comparator. Xilinx Vivado software was used to design this comparator, which was constructed using Kintex and Virtex FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) boards. Among the assessment criteria used to gauge the comparator's efficacy are temperature tracking, power consumption analysis, and input-output resource usage analysis. These metrics shed light on the performance and efficacy of the comparator. The study shows how green computing technologies and sustainable digital communication systems can use the developed comparator. The comparator circuit is implemented using Virtex and Kintex FPGA boards. It was discovered that the Kintex board is better by examining various power, temperature, and hardware parameters.
