Monitoring Harvest Power System Using Piezoelectric Disk Electric-Based IoT

The world is increasingly turning to renewable energy sources, which has led to the development of innovative technologies that can harness energy from a wide range of natural and mechanical sources at the same time. The production of electricity through the utilization of piezoelectric materials is one of these potential technologies being considered. An energy harvesting system that makes use of piezoelectricity is the topic of discussion in this article. Through the utilization of vibrations in the environment, the purpose of this design is to extract energy that can then be transformed into voltage. The approach that is utilized is an experiment that involves three various circuit schemes. These circuit schemes involve the arrangement of piezoelectrics in series with varying amounts, specifically 6, 12, and 18. The three different schemes that were carried out resulted in the voltages of 1,459 V, 2,866 V, and 3,247 V being attained. According to the findings that were obtained, the voltage that was obtained was higher when there was a bigger degree of piezoelectricity that was utilized. The voltage that is obtained, on the other hand, is likewise dependent on the magnitude of the vibrations that are present in the environment around it.
